Yesterday, January 27th, Taylor Swift took to Youtube to proudly announce some exciting news: Taylor Swift will be partnering with Diet Coke. “I’ve said for years that Diet Coke just ‘gets me’ and my lifestyle. I’m so excited about our new partnership,” says Taylor.
Taylor teams up with Diet Coke as the focal point of their Stay Extraordinary platform, which “celebrates the self-assured and aspirational people who enjoy Diet Coke everyday.” Katie Bayne, president of North American Brands for The Coca-Cola Company says:
“Taylor’s unmatched business savvy, talent and drive to succeed are an inspiration to everyone. She’s an extraordinary individual and a wonderful symbol of achievement. Not only will Taylor participate in Diet Coke’s television, print, and digital advertising campaign, but Diet Coke will give perks to Swifties too! Coca-cola says they wish to put fans “at the forefront of everything Swift and Diet Coke do together” by means of an online “Backstage Pass” for fans. Taylor will post videos, photos, and updates offering glimpses of her life on and off the road from the RED tour. It seems that we can expect more Youtube blogs from Taylor in the coming months!
