Tonight in Nashville, Taylor Swift co-hosted the Grammy Nominations Concert with LL Cool J. The two made for a dynamic pair as they opened the show with a hilarious beat box/rap number of “Mean” (VIDEO BELOW). Besides bringing back T-Swizzle, Taylor was an enthusiastic host, announcing each performance and nomination with fangirl-like excitement.
Taylor Swift’s genuine delight reappeared when her nomination for Record of the Year for “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” was announced. She immediately turned to LL Cool J and gasped, “Oh my god!” Taylor was also nominated for Best country Duo/Group Performance (“Safe & Sound”) and Best Song Written for Visual Media (“Safe and Sound”).
You can view a complete list of the 55th Grammys nominees at grammy.com/nominees. Be sure to tune in on February 10th at 8/7c on CBS to see if Taylor won!
Note: The Grammy Award nominations cut off on September 30th, which is why RED and none of the songs off RED (besides WANEGBT as a single) were nominated. Certainly, the Grammys will nominate RED for something in 2013!
