WOW! As if Taylor Swift’s current charity efforts were not enough, she is now donating an amazing $4 million to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum to help educate children on country music. Her donation will fund the Taylor Swift Education Center, which is set to open in 2014.

The Taylor Swift Education Center is part of an overall expansion to the Hall of Fame and will include it’s own entrance, 7,500 square feet of space, three classrooms, and an exhibit space for youth education programs. Activities will include a “musical petting zoo” and a classroom specifically for art projects such as concert posters.

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum means a lot to Taylor. In the past she has performed at multiple “All For The Hall” charity fundraisers, and has loaned them several items for their displays.

Yet again, our favorite singer, Taylor Swift makes it onto Forbes’ coveted Celebrity 100 list, ranking the most powerful celebrities based on income, influence and a variety of other factors. Taylor makes the list at number 11 this year behind fellow musicians Justin Bieber (3), Rihanna (4), Lady Gaga (5), Britney Spears (6), and Katy Perry (8).

According to Forbes:

“Swift benefitted from a huge tour this year, grossing over $1 million per night on more than 65 dates. She continues to cash in on her 2010 album Speak Now, which has now sold over 5 million copies worldwide; she picked up two Grammys for her song “Mean.” The young singer-songwriter also earns big as one of the faces of CoverGirl. Her fourth album is due this fall.”

If you had a chance to see Taylor Swift perform during one of her Speak Now World Tour concerts, you’re among the luckiest people on the planet.

Thirteen-year-old Summer was on her way to see her favorite singer perform at the Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento, CA in September 2011, when her mom’s car was struck by a drunk driver. While 1000′s of fans were living out their dream and screaming/singing along with Taylor Swift, Summer and her mom were being rushed to the hospital.

Officer Mike Lowry arrived at the scene, and upon seeing the horrors, decided to make it his mission to get Summer to a Taylor Swift show!! After the story had made it to Taylor’s management, they made the promise that Summer would NOT miss Taylor’s show the next time she’s in Sacramento. Until then, Taylor personalized and autographed a few items for her.

This is why we love Taylor so much. But please remember, drinking and driving is VERY serious. Don’t do it or let anyone around you do it, either.

There you have it everyone!! After all the times we’ve hoped and speculated on Taylor’s music making an appearance on GLEE, we have finally been rewarded!! Who’s going to watch episode 20??
